Fleshless od počátku do dnes !!!
Počátky české deathmetalové kapely Fleshless z Děčína se datují do roku 1993 . Za 25 let své existence vydala kapela (kromě dvou Ep a několika splitek) devět studiových alb.
Fleshless patří mezi stálice české death metalové scény. Frontman Vladimír je rovněž známým propagátorem extrémní undergroundové scény, majitelem nahrávací společnosti Nice To Eat You records a organizátorem festivalu Nice To Eat You Deatfest.
V roce 2018, po třech letech od posledního studiového alba „Devoured Beyond Recognition“ se Fleshless vrátili do studia k nahrání své deváté desky „Doomed.“ Deska navazuje na poslední studiový počin EP „Dethroned in Shadows,“ nahrané v roce 2017 v severočeském studiu The Barn pod vedením hudebního producenta, zvukového inženýra, hudebníka a leadera skupiny Mean Messiah Dana Frimla. Své desky zde nahrávali kapely jako Tortharry, Smashing Dumplings nebo Dilligence. „Doomed“ vyšlo jako klasické CD a LP pod hlavičkou německého vydavatelství Rotten Roll Rex zastupující takové jména jako Haemorrhage, CBT, Spasm nebo Gutalax. Desku opět otextoval Tomáš „Chymus“ Hanzl (ex-Antigod, ex-Isacaaurum, ex-NCC). Hlavní grafický motiv desky namaloval Rudi Gorgingsiucide Art a o finální grafickou úpravu a fotografie se postarala Renáta „Renhule“ Filipi.
Na konci roku 2021 Fleshless připravila materiál na další Ep „The Kingdom of the Liars“ a taky ohlásila změnu na postu bubeníka. Po jednadvaceti letech odchází z osobních důvodů bubeník Vitys a na bubenické stoličce jej nahradil Ondra D.I.E. Do současné chvíle Fleshless koncertovali bezmála na tisíci koncertech a festivalech napříč třemi kontinenty. Nechyběla ani turné po Jižní a Severní Americe, či mnoho tour po celé Evropě.
V roce 2023 oslavila kapela třicet let na scéně bohatým koncertováním a hlavně exkluzivním setem na domacím NTEY Deathfestu v Srbské Kamenici, kdy kapela projela po pár skladbách celou svoji diskografii a vystoupili s ní také skoro všichni ex-členové, kteří kdy v kapele figurovali. Z gigu vzniklo i video.
V roce 2024 čeká kapelu další oslava, byť ne tak opulentní, protože letos uplyne třicet let od vydání legendárního dema Grinding, takže kapela chystá (opět) na NTEY Deathfest 2024 speciální set, věnující se tomuto významnému zářezu českého ug. A v plánu je samozřejmě i další full album, na kterém kapela v současnosti intenzivně pracuje.
The origins of the Czech death metal band Fleshless from Děčín date back to 1993. In the 25 years of its existence, the band has released nine studio albums (in addition to two EP’s and several splits). Fleshless is one of the mainstays of the Czech death metal scene.
Frontman Vladimír is also a well-known promoter of the extreme underground scene, the owner of the record company Nice To Eat You records and the organizer of the Nice To Eat You Deatfest festival. In 2018, after three years since their last studio album „Devoured Beyond Recognition“, Fleshless returned to the studio to record their ninth album „Doomed“. The Barn led by record producer, sound engineer, musician and leader of Mean Messiah Dan Friml. Bands such as Tortharry, Smashing Dumplings or Dilligation recorded their records here. „Doomed“ was released as a classic CD and LP under the banner of the German label Rotten Roll Rex representing such names as Haemorrhage, CBT, Spasm or Gutalax. The lyrics were again written by Tomáš „Chymus“ Hanzl (ex-Antigod, ex-Isacaaurum, ex-NCC). The main graphic motif of the record was painted by Rudi Gorgingsiucide Art, and the final graphic editing and photography was done by Renáta „Renhule“ Filipi.
At the end of 2021, Fleshless prepared material for the next Ep „The Kingdom of the Liars“ and also announced a change in the position of drummer. After twenty-one years, drummer Vitys leaves for personal reasons and was replaced on the drum stool by Ondra D.I.E. Until now, Fleshless have performed at almost a thousand concerts and festivals across three continents. There was also a tour of South and North America, as well as many tours throughout Europe.
In 2023, the band celebrated thirty years on the scene with extensive concerts and, above all, an exclusive set at the local NTEY Deathfest in Srbská Kamenice, when the band went through their entire discography after a few songs, and almost all ex-members who were ever in the band performed with them. A video was also made from the gig.
In 2024, the band will have another celebration, albeit not as opulent, because this year will be thirty years since the release of the legendary Grinding demo, so the band is preparing (again) a special set at NTEY Deathfest 2024, dedicated to this important cut of Czech ug. And of course another full album is planned, on which the band is currently working intensively.
